    Cons -

    • very small, most tokyo hotels are small, but this is very small. the double bed is tiny, probably only fit 2 teenagers
    • The staff did not explain at all and I could not sleep one night in a terribly cold room. The air conditioning should be explained. The phone was out of order. It was covered with dust.
    • room is too small and hard to make turn. check in time is limited that is not good for flight delay.

The location was great! It was so close to the Temple. The rooms were clean. The staff was friendly and very welcoming. They even gave me change for the washing machine.

The rooms were a bit tight and the bathroom was even tighter.

Great hotel in the heart of Asakusa- so close to everything you’ll want to see and do. Clean comfortable rooms. Friendly staff and if I could I’d give the location a 20 ! There is a restaurant on site and have a simple but delicious breakfast. You won’t regret choosing this hotel! Well done APA hotel!

    Absolutely nothing!

Location was fantastic. Breakfast had multiple good options, not crowded considering it was such a large hotel.

Rooms were small but typical for Tokyo and not unexpected.

    8JeanPosted on: 12-24-2025

The staff were very helpful. The ramen restaurant recommendation came with two loaner umbrellas and easy directions. Thank you!

Great location! Everything is as clean. Very comfortable.

The rooms are very small but that’s something we already knew ahead. All good.

The location is excellent for hitting the tourist scene. The rooms was ok, comfortable and clean. The staff were friendly and facilities adequate.

Our room was very small, even smaller than some of the others we experienced in Japan. It was comfortable but a bit awkward for two people. I thought a little expensive for the size of the room. But ok considering the location

Great location, very clean and friendly staff. The Asakusa train station was just a few minutes walk away with direct trains to both Haneda and Narita airports.

The room was very small and the shower was hard to use with the shower head too high.

    Great location.

The hotel has either heat or AC, they decide what should be on. Our room was very warm, even though it was in November, and there was no AC to cool it down. They said they would turn on the AC during the day and the heat at night but we only had AC one out of the 4 days we were there.

Compared to other hotels we stayed, breakfast was the smallest and simple. But it was OK. Room pretty tiny but that is quite normal in Japan.

Location is very perfect accessible to shopping district and train station

    The room is very small

location right next to station - used just for a night before flying next day

too hot, too hot, too hot - air conditioning controlled centrally and if we opened the window it was to loud,

Very well-equipped room, with great utilities and polite staff. It was a great option for our budget and it's close to some main attractions.

The room is very small, almost claustrophobic. Also, there's no space under the bed to place your suitcases, so you need to store everything on the floor.

Location is great. A high spot of our trip was walking around the nearby Senso-ji, Nakamise-dori, and Sumida river areas early in the morning before the crowds arrived. We were awake early due to jet lag. The hotel is very close to these tourist areas and the whole area seems very safe. The hotel is close to the two Asakusa stations and less than 15 minutes walk from Kuramae station. At Narita, we got on a Keisei Sky Access train that ran directly from Narita to Asakusa via Oshiage (Skytree). Ideally, you'd buy an IC card at Narita. We didn't figure that out and ended up buying tickets to Asakusa from a Keisei window at Narita. We bought IC cards (Pasmo) from a vending machine at Asakusa station. A helpful member of station staff was on hand for assistance but it is straightforward. The optional breakfast had three choices - Western (toast based), Japanese (grilled salmon based), and curry. The breakfast choices didn't change much from day to day but I really like grilled salmon (even for breakfast) so no complaints from me. There are several convenience stores (konbini) close by and we ate some meals in the hotel room based on their usual sandwich and salad bowl selections. There's another APA hotel about 50 yards south of this one. The other hotel has the word "Minami" in its name. Check this out on the map before you arrive as there is potential for confusion. At check in, we were asked for our credit card PIN. That was a surprise and we could not remember the number. We ended up using a debit card with a known PIN. It's always worth carrying some cash for unexpected card problems.

The hotel rooms are small but this is normal.

Location, reasonable price for Tokyo, decent breakfast, quietThe neighborhood was very interesting- good dining out options, close to public transit and a direct line to the airport.

It was a small room, we knew that well but was were still surprised by the size. Everything functioned absolutely fine.

Nicely appointed comfortable room with all the amenities in a small space. Access to smart tv via apps. Breakfast choice of 4 meals.

    I liked everything.

Very comfortable hotel in excellent location. Breakfast was delicious!

Liked everything. Very pleasant, helpful staff, immaculately clean, felt at home away from home, especially nice since it was our first trip to Japan.
